How Wren writes the release notes
On every merge
When a pull request is merged, Wren writes one changelog line for it, in plain words, for someone who uses the project, and files it under added, changed, fixed, removed, docs or internal. The entry is drafted as a comment on the merged pull request.
On every release
When a release is published, she writes the release notes from every pull request merged since the last one, grouped by section, each line ending with its pull request number.
Release notes stay in the app for you to copy. Clank can read your repository's contents but cannot write to them, so it cannot edit the release for you.
Docs that drifted
Wren compares the merged diffs with your README and docs. When a file's text no longer matches what was changed, she lists the file and one line on what is out of date. Only files she was actually given can appear in that list.
